The Magnetic Biker Tag Bag has been developed to solve the problem of mounting/ fixing an Electronic Toll Tag to a Motorcycle.

The Magnetic Biker Tag Bag works on all of the toll roads in the Sydney CBD.

With the assistance of the RTA, one of their electronic tags has been tested, using the Magnetic Biker Tag Bag. No problems occurred traveling on the M2, M4, M5, M7, CCT, ED, SHRKS, SHMILS and the SHTUN. (see test results by clicking the following link.) http://www.motorcyclee-tag.com.au/tests/index.php

Mercane Pty Ltd is delighted to present its latest product. The Magnetic Biker Tag Bag. (MBTB)This new innovative product is simple, Easy to use and relieves all of the frustration encountered by the motorcyclist having to stop at tollbooths to pay the toll.

Until now on the majority of toll roads the motorcyclists is required to stop the bike out of gear, Put the kick-stand down, Remove gloves, Retrieve money from wallet or pocket Pay the toll, Put the wallet or change back into their pocket, Put the gloves back on, Lift the kickstand, Put the bike into gear and proceed through the Toll Booth. This whole process is further hindered if it is raining and the rider has protective wet weather clothing to contend with. This process is dangerous, Time consuming and also frustrates other drivers waiting behind the rider because of the time taken to pay the toll.

The Electronic Tag is simply placed inside the Magnetic Biker Tag Bag. There are currently three sizes undergoing testing. A) The Q-Free used by the RTA. B) The latest E-Way Tag, smaller than a standard business card. C) The largest tag of the three used by the majority of toll operators. (See Instruction Sheet to determine which Magnetic Biker Tag Bag to obtain.) Once you have selected your desired Magnetic Biker Tag Bag to suit your electronic tag.

Simply place the Magnetic Biker Tag Bag on the Motorcycle, Positioning it so the Tag can be read by overhead scanning equipment. A bracket has been supplied for motorcycles that don't have a mild steel area to mount the Magnetic Biker Tag Bag on. This bracket can be fitted to the handlebars, riser bars or faring bar. (A thick rubber spacer has been provided for small diameter faring bars). Simply remove the paper from the adhesive protective strip provided. Place it inside the bracket and trim to suit. Wrap the hose clamp around the handle bar and tighten.

Once you place the Magnetic Biker Tag Bag on the bracket, Ensure that the electronic tag is pointing in the correct direction to be read by the overhead-scanning device.

It is good practice to try the Magnetic Biker Tag Bag Containing the Electronic Tag Using a booth that indicates the toll has been paid To ensure that it is being read correctly.

The Magnetic Biker Tag Bag allows the motorcyclist to use all of the toll roads With the same freedom as other vehicles fitted with electronic tags.
